Promoting Education in the U.S.A
CS Thailand supported the International Student Network Inc., at its exhibition on US Higher Education at the Four Seasons Hotel, March 9, 2013. Admissions representatives from 15 U.S. universities were on-site to advise students on studying in the U.S. and scholarship programs. Mr. Dean Matlack, Commercial Attaché, provided a country briefing to U.S. university representatives along with Mr. Michael Mussi, Visa Chief of the Consular Section, who presented to students on how to obtain a student visa to the U.S.
Linden University Fair: On February 27, 2013: CS Bangkok partnered with Linden Educational Services to promote an exhibition on U.S. Higher Education. Admissions representatives from 18 U.S. universities were on hand to present and offer study opportunities in the U.S. Representatives from the Embassy the Consular Section provided a student visa presentation to students and parents at the fair.
TIECA Members Capacity Building:
On February 23-24, 2013: CS Thailand with support from Embassy Consular Section provided a student visa presentation to students and parents at the 27th Thai International Education Consultants Association (TIECA) Study Abroad. CS Bangkok has been working with TIECA members to promote U.S. schools and universities in Thailand for many years.
TIECA Members Capacity Building: On February 11, 2013: CS Thailand and Embassy Consular Section provided a student visa presentation to 70 attendees from the Thai International Education Consultants Association (TIECA) Study Abroad and high school counselors.
CS Bangkok Commercial Counselor Michael McGee has joined the Grand Opening of Domino’s Pizza first store in Bangkok. It is located at One Fenix Square, Sukhunvit 22.
CS Bangkok Commercial Specialist Kitisorn led a delegation of 40 buyers from 17 local Thai companies to attend the 2013 SHOT Show at the Sands Expo & Convention Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to explore business opportunities with exhibiting U.S. companies, and to expand and market U.S. products and services in Thailand. The SHOT Show is the world's premier exposition of combined firearms, ammunition, law enforcement, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics and related products and services.
